Understanding Matthew 5:10 KJV: Persecution and Blessing

“Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”

Μακάριοι οἱ δεδιωγμένοι ἕνεκεν δικαιοσύνης, ὅτι αὐτῶν ἐστιν ἡ βασιλεία τῶν οὐρανῶν.

Makarioi hoi dediōgmenoi heneken dikaiosynēs, hoti autōn estin hē basileia tōn ouranōn.
