Understanding God’s Sovereignty in Lamentations 3:35-38

Lamentations 3:35-38 (KJV):

“To turn aside the right of a man before the face of the most High,
To subvert a man in his cause, the Lord approveth not.
Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass, when the Lord commandeth it not?
Out of the mouth of the most High proceedeth not evil and good?”

Simple Explanation:

These verses emphasize that God is sovereign, and nothing happens without His will. The Lord does not approve of injustice or wrongdoing. Both good and judgment come from God, reminding us that He is in control of all things and holds everyone accountable for their actions.
