The Significance of Luke 2:14 in the Christmas Story

Luke 2:14 (KJV):

“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.”

This verse is part of the angels’ announcement to the shepherds of Jesus’ birth, proclaiming peace and God’s goodwill to humanity. It reflects the message of hope, reconciliation, and joy brought to the world through the coming of Christ. The birth of Jesus is seen as the ultimate demonstration of God’s love and goodwill toward all people, providing salvation and restoring peace between God and humanity.
